Companion to CAMIPRO & matriculation. Menu prices change daily; use Offre du jour for the figure that applies to your status.

What this page is for

Where to eat on the EPFL campus, how CAMIPRO payment and status discounts work, and how to top up your card. Prefer the live menu board over any remembered CHF.

Status price codes on Offre du jour

On the live menu table, each dish can show four abbreviations (tooltips on the page):

Code Label on Offre du jour
EPrix étudiant/apprenti (student / apprentice)
CPrix campus
DPrix doctorant (doctoral)
VPrix visiteur (visitor)

Your CAMIPRO status drives which column you are charged. EPFL does not publish a full prose legend beyond these tooltips on the menu page; if a till price looks wrong, check your card status strip / myCAMIPRO and the receipt.

Paying with CAMIPRO

  1. Load money onto your CAMIPRO purse (see below).
  2. At the till, place the card on the white CAMIPRO reader; the account is debited immediately.
  3. Ask for a receipt, or check the display / myCAMIPRO / EPFL Campus app for the remaining credit.

Student menu discount note (CAMIPRO FAQ): the CHF 8.- menu and the CHF 2.- discount are granted only if you pay by CAMIPRO and have enough credit on the card. Paying cash while only showing the card does not unlock that discount.

Vending machines on campus accept cash and CAMIPRO. If a CAMIPRO vend fails to deliver, EPFL says to reposition the badge so the transaction is not validated; if a product falls into a locked compartment, a second purchase may be needed to open it.

You can also eat at UNIL outlets; CAMIPRO payment page links a separate UNIL info page for that.
